GENERAL INFORMATION, FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES AND RULES

1. ULUYOS/PG 2018 is a selection and placement exam organized for international students that would like to have post graduate education and would be accepted to foreign student quotas in Uludag University. This examination is organized by Uludag University  Student Affairs Office and Uludağ University Continous Education and Research Center (ULUSEM) bound to Uludag University Rectorate contributes as coordinator.
2. This document, results of ULUYOS/PG 2018 is valid for 2 years for applications.
3. All correspondence between UÜ and applicants must be in Turkish and English.
4. The applications for the ULUYOS/PG 2018 exam will be accepted between March 5 – April 15, 2018 and can only be made online. Candidates should state their country and language preference on the application form. Applications submitted outside the application term and applications submitted in person or via mail will not be accepted. Applications from the exam centers that have agencies will be made via agencies that have been announced. After fully completing the Exam Application Form candidates must print out the “Exam Application Form” generated by the system and “Exam Entry Card” indicating the examination locations to be announced, and bring them along to the examination. Moreover, candidates must bring along their identity cards/passports and residence permits, if any. (Examination halls will be announced at the Uludağ University’s website www.uludag.edu.tr on 23stApril 2018)
5. The applicants who have lost their Exam Application Form can reprint their documents by logging in the system again with their Y.U./T.C./Passport Numbers.
6. The ULUYOS/PG 2018 results can only be used by students who would like to have post graduate education. Those who have been studying at an institution of higher education (post graduate transfer) need to apply for the related higher education institution directly.
7. The applicants will  meet their own needs for the transactions such accommodation, scholarship, subsistence, residence permit and visa for Turkey, etc.
8. Candidate statements will be sufficient for applications, however, any candidate making false statements, providing incorrect information, not meeting the terms of application, substituting others in the examination, acting in violation of examination rules and engaging in similar behaviors will not be entitled to any right granted by their scores even if they are accepted to the examination. Scores will be deemed null and void, and preference/placement transacitons will not be completed. In case such violations are identified, the examination result will be deemed null and void, and legal and administrative actions will be taken regardless of the time passed since the examination.
9. The ULUYOS/PG 2018 application fee paid by the applicant cannot be transferred to the following years. The fees paid by the applicants whose applications are considered invalid, those who have paid an amount for a transaction that is free of charge, those who do not or cannot take the examination, those who are not accepted to the examination or dismissed from the exam, those who fail or whose examination papers are considered invalid and those who can not be placed to any department/program are not repaid.
10. Dates and conditions specified are subject to changes to be made by Uludağ University. Changes will be announced to the candidates on University’s website one week prior to implementation. Additional ULUYOS/PG exams may be held at the required centers and times. Domestic and foreign examination centers, the determination of the form and the content of exams and organization of exams are organized by Foreign Students Acceptance Commission (YDOKK) .
11. Uludag University has the authority to cancel the ULUYOS/PG exam in an exam center in the case of absolute necessity (terror, natural disaster, war, etc.) that would threat the security of the exam and also if the applications for one foreign exam center do not reach 100 candidates.
12. The rules prescribed can be changed if it is necessitated by the decision taken by Uludag University Senate and/or Higher Education Council after the publication of this guide. Rules stipulated by YDOKK will be applicable in any and all circumstances that are not covered in this manual.
