APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
On the condition that they are senior students at high schools or graduates;
A) The applications of the applicants who;
1) Are foreign nationals (those studying in secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye provided that they have registered before the 2022-2023 academic year [Embassy schools, international private education institutions in the MOBİS system, and foreigners brought to our country within the framework of the project carried out by the Ministry of National Education except nationals])
2) Are Turkish citizens from birth and have received permission for withdrawal from citizenship from the Turkish Ministry of Interior and, those who are able to document that they have a Blue Card provided to those via their request, who withdrew from their citizenship, (those studying in secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye provided that they have registered before the 2022-2023 academic year) (Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law (5901) states that “A child born to a Turkish mother or a Turkish father within the unity of marriage either in Türkiye or abroad is a Turkish citizen”. The applicants are strongly advised to read the Turkish Citizenship Law before submitting their applications).
3) Are foreign nationals from birth and later acquired Turkish citizenship / have dual citizenship, (those studying in secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye provided that they have registered before the 2022-2023 academic year)
4) a) Students who have Turkish Citizenship and have continued their last three years of secondary (high school) education abroad, except in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus before 01/02/2013 (including those who have completed their high school education abroad -except in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus- in Turkish schools accredited by the Ministry of Education) can apply for foreign student admission quotas.
b) Applicants who have started their secondary education after 01/02/2013 and completed their secondary (high school) education in a foreign country except Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (including those who have completed their High School Education abroad in Turkish schools accredited by Ministry of Education) can apply for foreign student admission quotas,
5) Have Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus citizenship and reside in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and those who have completed their secondary education in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and have GCE AL exam results and have enrolled in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2010 having or will have GCE AL exam results,
are accepted.
B) The applications of the applicants who;
1) Are Turkish citizens and have completed all of their high school education in Türkiye and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (T.R.N.C.),
2) Are T.R.N.C. citizens (except for those who have completed their whole secondary education in T.R.N.C. having GCE AL results and enrolled in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2010 and having or will have GCE AL exam results)
3) ) Are dual citizens, first of them being Turkish by birth as defined in paragraph 2 of article A (except for those who meet the conditions in paragraph 4 of Article A)
4) Are dual citizens, one of them being T.R.N.C. (except those who have completed their whole secondary (high school) education in the high schools of TRNC and have GCE AL results and enrolled in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2010 having or will have GCE AL exam results)
5) Have Turkish citizenship or dual citizenship, the first of which is Turkish given by birth as defined in Clause 2 of Article A, who study at schools that are affiliated with the embassies of Türkiye and foreign high schools in Türkiye,
6) T.R.N.C. citizens and Turkish Republic citizens that renounced their citizenship/Blue Card holders and foreign nationals who will enroll in secondary education institutions in Türkiye starting from the 2022-2023 academic year (except for foreign nationals brought to our country within the framework of the project carried out by the Ministry of Education and embassy schools and international private education institutions in the MOBİS system.),
are not accepted.
In the applications, the applicants' own declarations regarding whether they meet the application requirements will be taken into consideration. Even if those who do not meet the application requirements and make an incorrect statement have started it, they will not have a right to continue their education. If students are found to have failed to comply with the application requirements or have applied with incorrect information after registration, they are dismissed from the university.
